So, I was just watching the first episode and what's the deal with the brother kissing the sister on the mouth? Is that a thing in this show? I was thinking it would be a cute show about 3 siblings working together, so what's going on?

It's written by Kunihiko Ikuhara, aka The Guy Who Did Utena. That sort of thing is pretty much par for the course with him.

I was sort of getting that vibe from it but I wasn't sure. There's not like a canonical romance going on there, is there? Your icon is the reason I started watching, by the way. :)

Glad my icon got you interested :P Canon-wise, Kanba's feelings on the matter are fairly canon but Himari's are more ambiguous. No one hooks up with their sister in the end, if that's what you're worried about (and there's a bit of a late-series twist regarding that relationship too, though another one kind of takes its place in a sense). It's a very surreal little show and there's some heavy stuff that goes on later. It never goes as far as Utena but it's still very Ikuhara.
