21. Sometimes I feel like the only person that likes his books in the Star Wars EU. :/ But Kyp is one of my favorites and I love the Young Jedi Knights series. So maybe that's why? :P The New Jedi order is what destroyed the EU for me really.

I find it weird that ppl really don't like the YJK series because honestly? I've got so much love for them, they were really good stories on their own,that really kept me waiting for the next book to come out....I gotta say though, I've always felt that Mara Jade was the biggest Mary Sue, and I agree, the New Jedi Order blows chunks.

Good to see there are people defending KJA here. That's often hard to find. :P I don't think he's the best writer in the EU by any means, but I always enjoyed the Jedi Academy trilogy and yes, the YJK. They were some of the first Star Wars books I ever read, so they have a lot of nostalgic value for me.

It really bothers me what they've been doing to the characters in the latest series. :( Everyone is either dead, mentally unstable, or has lost a lot of the characteristics that made them cool.. Zekk as an obnoxious lovesick puppy, what the heck? But yeah, completely agree that the "destruction" of the EU happened during and after the NJO.
