10. For fuck's sake when you're critiquing a writer for ANYTHING at least have the decency to SPELL CORRECTLY.

Also, I'll admit that I write fanfic out of a control complex. Sometimes stories don't go the way I want to, or go into a character I like. So I "fix" that with fanfic.

Maya Fay WAS BEING ATTACKED with lethal force. It's legal for someone to respond in kind (it would be different if say, she was being punched and he used a gun).

Oh lawd, have some California Penal code to go with that:

"California Penal Code section 197 states, 'Homicide is...justifiable when committed by any person...[who is] resisting any attempt to murder any person...

The law is only the law is dramatically convenient...like how in the third game, they conveniently remember what perjury is...

Although what drives me NUTS is that for this fictional world, they never properly established WHAT the legal status of a medium channeling a spirit even IS.
