04. I've been meaning to watch this for a while now... Anime related to card games have never really been my thing, but I remember reading some interview with the director (where he said that they'd be focusing more on telling a good story than trying to promote some merchandise) that made me intrigued.

07. Maybe you should try to get another job? You're obviously not happy with the one you have now, and I doubt your students are enjoying the situation either.

15. I've never looked into the fandom for this series, but I guess it doesn't come as much of a surprise that it's only mainly older people in it. But hey, age doesn't matter, right? If it makes you feel any better, I was in my early teens when I first read the book. So, y'know, you're not the only one or anything.

16. The Shadow and Harry Vincent, as a pairing? I... I utterly adore you. It's been a long time since I last read the books (something you've just reminded me that I must rectify), but I loved them to bits -- and, yes, I did definately see the slashy potential between those two.

20. Uh. What kind of school do you attend? I've never had (or even heard of) a class that made students kill the animal they were supposed to dissect.

22. Hehe, that's cute. Though, if you reeelly want it -- even if you won't actually be able to read the books -- there's always importing, you know!

28. Aw, don't feel bad. I don't think there's anything wrong with that! I love it when I dream of characters I like, so I guess it'd be pretty cool if there was some way dreams like that could be induced.

30. Not only do I ship them, but I've also written a fic for them... which I'll probably never have the guts to post -- cause, y'know, I wrote it after just seeing the first four episodes ^_^;

I've been re-reading the books for the first time in years and after I was done with chapter 1 in the "The Living Shadow" I was asking myself why I had never shipped this before.

As soon as I'm finished with the book series I'm currently chipping away at, I'll be rereading all my Shadow books (I wonder if I even have them all...? I guess I'll have to look into that first, huh).

They make for a great pairing, as I remember it. I guess finding fanworks for it is out of the question, though.

I have most of them in .pdf, if you need gaps filled in. Some new re-prints came out last year too. I could just give you the pack, but the file is kind of big just to have sitting around.

You should try it out. Despite the criticism KIBA gets for other aspects, it doesn't feel like an anime advertisement for the TCG. I was more engrossed by what was going on than all the spirits the characters were summoning.

That certainly sounds promising. Well then, I'll bump it to the very top of my anime-to-watch list :3

Do you have a suggestion as to which fansubbing group I should go with?

I stuck with Kyuuketsuki (http://home.kyuuketsuki.org/) since they were the quickest group to put out the subs. I can't say anything on translation quality since I don't know much Japanese, but Mishicorp (http://mishicorp.org) seems to have better picture quality.
