True, but I've seen Leto act before (not in this role) and I think he's rather good. What I mean is: I believe it's a great acting performance.

But there's this thing where Hollywood tends to have a boner for actors who are actually willing to change themselves physically for a certain part, I realize.

But I digress - I actually meant to say something can be brilliantly acted without actually being representative or true to reality.

The problem, as far as I heard, is that while it's based on a true story, Rayon's character is actually fictional.
