Re: English not being that hard

I've found that most native speakers tend to fall into one of two extremes when it comes to saying how difficult their language is to learn: "it's so hard; I pity anyone who tries to learn it" or "it's really easy; you'll pick it up in no time".

I am so sick of people pretending like German (my native language) is this mega-twisted language. It's not really much easier or harder than most other Germanic or Romance languages. It is, however, probably not worth learning unless you want to actually learn it well enough to fully experience the beauty of Schiller.
