(Anonymous) 2014-03-06 01:00 am (UTC)(link)Though I think that episode's bigger hook is that everyone else is in one scenario (an overt Pulp Fiction homage that sets up the possibilities of hijinks, which is what you'd expect Abed's character to be most interested in, and what the viewer is expecting Abed and Jeff to get to), but Abed and Jeff end up in another, and it's a riff on My Dinner with Andre. It's somewhat unexpected for NBC primetime.
