Okay, basically what happens in the scene for #12 is they're filling out their dance cards, and the dude on the left puts his hand on the guy's knee and then talks across him to the gf. He then talks to the dude and THEN takes his hand off the guy's knee. Guy in question kind of squirms a bit.

I found it odd, anyway, for a film from 1946, to practically show a guy hitting on another guy that way, since that's what it amounted to.

You DO know the whole film is freely downloadable, right? :P

Even though the Production Code was in function at the time, plenty of films managed to work their way around it, even much more obvious ones.

(Though considering the earlier depictions of queerness on screen, it's really sad to think what might have been, had it not been for the Production Code.)
