Funny thing, I was actually taking the non-standard route home so I could go to the store when the accident happened. Road conditions were hideous on a less familiar route, which is what led to the whole thing.

I did go last night though, and I decided to take the non-standard route there and back just to get it out of my system. And I made it. Panicky, but made it. And sang a song, despite being choked up. Something I can post on next week's pride thread over at synecdochic's journal. =)
