First of all, stop washing with soap or any feminine hygiene products you might be using. It seems counterintuitive, but it destroys all the natural flora that actually keep your vagina clean. When you bathe or shower try to rinse with just water.

Second of all, dry or cracked skin can actually be a symptom of a yeast infection. If ceasing to use products to clean yourself doesn't work, you can try an over the counter cream and see if that helps.

i never use anything like that so it's no problem. the last time i had dry skin in the area i tried some cream stuffs, but it didn't seem to help. i'm very willing to try again though.

If the over the counter stuff doesn't work, I'd recommend making an appointment to see someone about this. Especially if it's a recurring thing.

There's the possibility that this could also be psoriasis or contact dermatitis, and if that's what's happening you might need a prescription for corticosteroid cream.
