Zero times. I'm one of those rare people who is not fond of mayo in general.

However, I do go to places called a "frituur" here. I understand this doesn't really exist in a lot of places. It's a place (often where you can eat it, but aimed at a lot of takeway) where you go specifically to buy fries and other fried snacks.

I visit them less now than before , as I try to cut on the junk food, but they're so nice though.

I eat my fries either just with salt, ketchup, cocktail sauce, spicey (samurai) sauce, or "stoofvlees" (a sort of sweet beef stew).

Haha wow, I thought eating fries with mayo was just a requirement of being Belgian.

And I get what you mean by frituur, though we don't really have them here. I imagine it's along the lines of the British chip shop though, which I am familiar with.

Well, I'm not officially Belgian, so that might be it lol.

It's similar to a chip shop, yes. Though we don't do fish and chips or fried candy bars. And I'd argue English chips are near inedible compared the Belgian fries, though that makes me sound like an elitist snob.
