"uffda" is commonly used to children if they fall down and stuff along those lines. But also as a sort of "that sucks" expression.

Quite a lot, but varying depending on the person. And we learn Norse myths in school from 1st grade and up to 8th or so grade, so we all know of it and are pretty well versed in the major stuff. (I myself actually kinda suck, but that is because I forgot quite a lot)

And we do know enough that I don't think you can find a Norwegian that watched Thor and didn't complain about the wrongness of it*...

*Yes, yes I know it is based on a comic book and all that, but in what world is Thor and Loki brothers?
