Depends? It really all about who you meet up with and their personal perceptions of living in CA. If they think CA is some magical place they treat you like you shit gold. If they think CA is full of poorly educated conspiracy theorists then they treat you like you're dumb and crazy. If they think CA is full of itself and all talk and no substance they treat you like you're a big-headed braggart. If they're chill then they generally just ask what the state is like.
