(Anonymous) 2014-03-08 01:58 pm (UTC)(link)I'm not sure proportion of scenes really makes that much difference to the ships, though. They're two very different dynamics. Vimes/Vetinari is a more adversarial, two-sides-of-a-coin thing with a lot of history of saving and hating each other, while Vetinari/Drumknott is more a superior-subordinate, dark-and-secret dealings pair with added paperwork and politics. Given the difference in dynamic, I'd say the weight of canon 'evidence' isn't the deciding factor so much as your preferences for type of pairing?
