I don't watch the show anymore, but in terms of books I preferred Joffrey to Ramsey (as in I enjoyed Joffrey's unrepentent villainy more than Ramsey's) simply because The Joff was on fire when the whole series was on fire - in Clash of Kings and Storm of Swords. Ramsey came later when the series was already falling apart for me and he just didn't make that much of an impression, no matter how many people he flayed.

I agree, Joffrey makes a bigger impact.

I've heard of someone who flays people in ASOIAF and wanted to see how bad this could be, but it took such a long time getting to Ramsay, I had almost forgotten about the flayer and it was kind of anti-climatic.
