I have to admit I love the Glen Keane style, so Frozen didn't bother me in that regard. But I have been increasingly annoyed by how similar all the 3D films look to one another. I'm sure 3D has the capability of being strikingly different style-wise, but currently 2D has a lot more versatility and uniqueness IMHO. And so yeah, the fact that Frozen didn't really have a defining "look" to it, especially when you compare a final still to one of the concept art drawings, is one of my biggest negative points about the movie. :(

Since you mentioned dolls though, I just have to share this link (http://www.lulemee.com/disney-frozen-dolls/) and my personal favorite of those:

god I love doll repaints

I could never do it and I don't have the money or space to collect them but I love seeing them

I love that there are people out there who do this

Same. This particular artist takes commissions, but they're about $200 each, to which my wallet is just like "ha. haha. hahahahaahahahahhahahahaha."

pff, nah. I like dolls, but not that much. Would rather buy a tiny house.

Daaaamn.

Wish she had done Merida, though. If any of the Disney girls need better dolls, it's her.

The Disney store versions are TEN TIMES better than the Mattel mass-marketed dolls like what she took here.

My Merida, though she may not be exact, has more of her actual look to her than what Target and Wal-Mart sells.
