I'm not always comfortable with going the evil route myself, but it depends on my character. I tend to get very "in character" and sometimes, they are evil characters. Sometimes it makes me uncomfortable, but sometimes when I'm feeling particularly pissed off it makes for good stress relief. Also, evil often has more snark. I like snark.

I'll usually play multiple types of a character, just because I want to explore all the various character paths and dialogue, too. I'm a bit of a completionist that way.
