Toughton's number Two, right? Because if so, I wholeheartedly agree--funny, not creepy. ("Zoe, Jamie has an idea. Better run.")

Maybe it's more that the previous Doctors weren't exactly as high on the sexy-scale as Nine and Ten were. A lot of the earlier Doctors were more like someone you'd want to be your Wacky Uncle, while Nine and Ten (okay, and Five. And, in the right mood, Four. And occassionally Six, even if he is a complete jerk...) were more...um, well... *cough*

HA! See, that's the thing. People keep complaining about the Doctor having any sort of romance. 900 years old. I think we can assume he's "danced." And I think we can assume that he enjoys "dancing." Fer serious.

Apparently, the Master was going nuts from the same thing.

Yeah, Two is hilarious and adorable. Anyone who'd call him creepy clearly wasn't paying attention.

Anyone who refuses to watch a show because the main character isn't sexy loses like a thousand points in my book. Also, I think Ten is too weird looking to be attractive in any way, but I'm well aware fandom doesn't share my opinion >_>

Sexy characters help, but I agree, they shouldn't be necessary. I remember Star Trek being my first forray into fandom, and I know I didn't find any of them "sexy." (Wanted to be McCoy's niece or best friend or something, though.) Ten is...well, he is really weird-looking, and he does weird things with his face, but he holds himself well, and he's got a very nice build... Rwor. Same with Nine, sort of--he's funny-looking, but still manages to be attractive with plain charisma.
