This is possibly the most frightening comment I've seen on the whole issue.

It's "okay because it's fiction"?

Get the fuck outta here.

No real human beings were hurt during the making of that ship, so yeah, since they're fictional characters, who cares?.

Because when people think it's "cute" it's just creepy and a little bit sick. Because hundreds of little girls, for some reason, see Hermione as a rolemodel. Because we're nerds who like the HP books and enjoys obsessing over the details.

Who cares?

Well, I do, apparently. I care pretty strongly. Because I honestly can't fathom when anyone, friend or net-folk, says they think Ron/Hermione is a cute ship. I can usually understand people's fandom choices, even the weird ones. That one confuses me. And freaks me out more than most creepier fandom.
