I just found out my team at work is getting a new probie.

At least six months later then all my mates I trained with, but my team is finally getting someone newer than me.



The unique dynamics at play are hard to explain without having experienced it, just suffice to say, this is tremendous news for me.

That's great. I hate being the newest person at work too. You can work there for two years, but until they get someone else, you're still the trainee.

I NEED CONFIRMATION FROM THE PLACE BUT I'M PRETTY SURE I GOT IT BECAUSE THE OWNER SEEMED SUPER-IMPRESSED BY MY EXPERIENCE AND EVERYTHING AND WAS GOING TO SEND ME SOME TEST EMAILS SO I COULD ANSWER THEM

(...I have to pester him about that, though, because he told me that at about lunchtime Friday and he forgot to send them by the late afternoon. The place is closed on the weekends, so I have to wait till tomorrow to remind him. STILL I'M PRETTY SURE I GOT IT. I'M IMPATIENT TO HEAR BACK.)
