I don't know, I couldn't disagree more about Agnes being less interesting than Tiz. I'm not nearly finished with the game yet and while Agnes certainly isn't the best character ever or anything I honestly feel like Tiz could just not be in the game at all with very little impact made on it outside of party size in battle. He's totally useless as a character, let alone the lead.

I agree that Tiz is more useless than Agnes, but I do feel like he has slightly more emotional range. Agnes only really has two notes, socially awkward and self-sacrificing, whereas Tiz has maybe three or four.

I have the feeling most of the fic of this game is going to be about either Edea or the villains. Maybe with a bit of Ringabel thrown in.

I hope most of the fic will be about the villains. They're shockingly interesting compared to the main characters. I was annoyed to have to kill the bad buys, starting right from the first battle with Holly Whyte and Barras Lehr. Each time I had a boss battle I was 'nooooo I have to kill these guys? but they're actually fun, oh no I killed them now' and then back to the main four.

If Agnes says 'unacceptable' one more time... it was cute for about the first few times.

Edea is the best by far of the main four, but 50% of her conversations are about her being annoyed at Ringabel's sexism, and it's not done with terribly much variation. At least her voice acting is good. Agnes's voice artist uses this terrible halting faux-innocent voice, as does Tiz's, and they take so long to say anything.
