so... so let me get this straight... this is basically a show about people eating things? that's it?

da

if it's the one I'm thinking of, it's based on the fact that a lot of restaurants in Korea, you can't really eat there by yourself. Like they only have 2+ person servings. So the show is about people who have nothing in common except that they are single and have no friends, yet they want to go out to eat so they take turns going together. It's actually a pretty funny concept, in the 'different personalities forced together' kind of way.

That's the thing: I thought it was a show about people eating things, in drama form instead of a real life documentary style. But it's actually a series with kind of cute characters and at least the first two episodes are a lot less about food than I expected. There is even a murder plot thrown in somewhere. As well as the usual romance, I guess. I could live without that, but since it's a Korean drama, that was to be expected. It's not quite as terrible.
I mostly love the female lead. But it's still about her loving food a lot, with lots of close-ups of mouths chewing and soup slurping and all and I'm not sure if the characters are enough to convince me to sit through that...
