I'm the anon from above. Agreed on both accounts, I'm glad I'm not alone. I always thought the odd numbered pilots went together nicely. The lack of fic featuring them paired off with each other was disappointing. Especially the lack of 1x3x5 threesome fic. So much potential.

Yes. It's really sad. I would love to have some threesome fic with them going off infiltrating enemy organisations and having cool, dangerous adventures while being boyfriends together. They did it so well in the canon.

God damn it, now I'm craving 1x3x5 fic where the three are older and have started a mutually beneficial relationship during their time in preventers, with either Heero or Trowa coming up with the idea and getting Wufei involved, going on infiltration missions, living and sparring together to keep each other in tip top shape. The sparring smetimes ends up devolving into rough, savage sex because it is totally like foreplay for them. Plus, the adrenaline helps. Dear god, I've thought about this too much. Remind be why this fucking threesome wasn't a thing again?

An absolutely fucking tragedy. This fandom had five badass guys and yet it very rarely mixed up the pairings and explored other combinations. Instead, they just wrote the same two pairings over and over. What the fuck was wrong with this fandom. So many missed oppurtunities.

God, if I could write this fic, I so totally fucking would. This fic needs to exist, damn it.

I think what was sad as well was how they kept falling back to a very limited variation of fanon character traits and kept repeating them over and over. Gundam Wing wasn't perfect but the characters still deserved better in a way. I never really got why they stuck to those pairings in the first place. I mean, Heero and Trowa basically lived together like an old married couple for several episodes.

I hated those fanon characterizations for the most part as well. Most of them either took certain character traits and blew them way out of proportion. For example, Trowa being so quiet that he only speaks a few lines total in the fanfic yes, Trowa is a pretty silent guy, but he is nowhere near that quiet. I never got the appeal of those pairings either. Trowa and Heero had a such chemistry in those episodes, omg.

I wish I had the talent for it too. God, it could be an epic fic detailing the evolution of their relationship throught the years. All the while showing them being the badass Preventers they are.

Not sure if you'll see this, but I'm so glad I'm not alone loving this threesome and the odd number pairings. So glad to see another GW alternate pairing shipper.
