Got back from Tucson! Thank you everyone for the advice. :D Unfortunately I wasn't able to put a lot of the ideas of where to eat into practice, thanks to my flight schedule getting fucked up, but if I ever go again, I'll definitely be trying to check those places out. :D

I did like it, though. It was a bit browner then I'm used to, but the plants were pretty neat! I mean, I've never seen wild cactus before, so that was cool! The only thing that was annoying was that no one pronounced Oregon correctly, but that's more of a pet peeve than an actual issue. |D

Thanks again to everyone who gave me advice when I posted about it, it did come in handy! :D

Kind of like "organ", but with a tiny "eh" sound in between the r and the g. Nothing too drawn out, though.

I'm supposed to head down there this weekend- how was the weather?

Sunny, but with some clouds. Warm, but not super hot to the point where I was sweating. Wind, but it didn't kick up until around 6pm, so bring a jacket/sweatshirt, just in case.

I heard that there might be rain, though? At least, a couple of the people I overheard while in a line at the con thought the clouds in the distance were rain. Might be wrong, though.

Well, the best way I can think to describe it is "Or'eh'gen" where "gen" is pronounced like "general" but with the "g" from "gift".

Wrong ways to pronounce it
- Aw-regon
- O-ree-gon
- O-re-gun
- O-re-gone

(and combinations of those sounds. :3)

Ah, I guess I'm pronouncing it right then! Phew. :D
