My one no-TP is Jeff/Annie, so I'm worried I'll get that in the 6 seasons + movie. And I'd rather not have that.

Same here.

I thought I was the only one who felt that way... IF there has to be one OTP (and I did okay without one) it's always been Britta/Jeff for me. I haven't watched the last 2 seasons though. :(

Ugh, be glad you didn't. The Britta/Troy plotline of S4 was just painful.

Aaaaah on noes, I had forgotten about that. I think I watched until that happened and than I gave up then. :( Because I now clearly remember that happening and me going, 'nonononono' and quitting.

I used to love that ship but it turns out the older I get, the more I am squicked out by age difference. Yikes.

I'm all for Jeff/Britta and Troy/Abed though

They are both good pairings! The Jeff/Britta one is just so great though, because they have managed to build some history in there and I think in the future there could be more interesting plots to explore with the 2 of them! I always hope they didn't give up on this pairing, I think I'd probably start watching again just for that.

I actually hope nobody gets together. I like the friendships on the show but I psychically check out when romantic vibes crop up.

+1 All the ship possibilities we've been shown so far are screwed up in one way or another, I don't mind if the characters flirt but I'd rather they end up with people outside the group if they date at all.

Me too, even though I read shippy fanfic. When a show has a group of friends who are like a family, I might have ships but in the show itself I think it ruins the dynamic. I'm okay with them having partners outside the group, though.

A 12-year age difference is squicky? Because WOG is that is the age difference between the two characters.

(Anonymous) 2014-03-12 02:39 am (UTC)(link)
It is for me because they met when Annie was still really young. So I'd be pretty squicked by it.

(Anonymous) 2014-03-12 01:54 pm (UTC)(link)
Wasn't Annie 19 and Jeff 34 when they met?

I'm a little squicked out by age differences of more than maybe 7-8 years, and that's twice that.

Actually, Annie was 18 and Jeff was 30.

It's been confirmed in canon that they're 12 years apart. Annie is currently 23 and Jeff is currently 35.

When one of them starts out barely legal, yeah.

It's creepy because Annie acts all young and idealistic and innocent or whatever, while Jeff acts like ... Jeff.
