If you're talking about some of Moffats plots then it's the writing. I could not explain to you what exactly happened in The Time of the Doctor if you paid me.

Not sure why you'd assume they're talking about Moffat considering that the image is Tennant. It doesn't specify either way, but it seems like RTD-era would be a safer assumption.

I mean it could be, sure. But RTD's plots are pretty straightforward. They might be silly, but generally they aren't hard to follow. There are a couple of exceptions, but RTD really isn't much for complicated plots. It'd make more sense if this secret were about Moffat Who where there are timeloops galore and plots fall apart if you think about them for more than half a second.

I'm kind of assuming the quizzical expression is the OP, who likes Tennant (and presumably his era...) and is familiar with his screencaps, and is feeling far more butthurt about Moffat's era (with a side serving of yeah, RTD could be bad too).
