Everything about Bones the last couple of seasons. It went from one of my favorite shows to a show I can't even bring myself to watch anymore and that actively makes me mad half the time I do watch it.

Everything about Bones for me too. I fell in love with the character of Bones, then realized the writers either had something else in mind entirely or just didn't care about writing a coherent character in the first place. Now every time I see it, I get sad.

I didn't mind the kid or her finally getting with Booth, but the wedding is what finally put me off.

Because and I don't fucking care how the writers wanted to write it, the wedding was Booth's idea all along. Sure, Bones CHOSE to finally tie the knot, but it would have been a sore spot for them for forever. And her wearing fucking WHITE, when she was SO. ADAMANT. against wearing white cause she does not represent what it represents.

UGH.

I didn't mind the idea of them having a kid because I thought the writers would go for in-character dealing with the kid rather than enforced gender roles. But no. What we got was the beginning of the decline of the show with Brennan being someone she wasn't and Booth, even though he was actually the most nurturing one and the one who really wanted a kid, being the stereotypical dad. And his overprotectiveness was justified in the narrative as right rather than criticized.

Really, that's what gets me. The last few seasons the show has been portraying Booth's point of view as objectively correct and having Brennan change and compromise without any change or compromise on the part of Booth.

I rage-quit Bones when they made Zach the apprentice of the serial killer guy. Just...wtfucking f. Now every time i catch a glimpse of it, it pisses me off. (Plus i detest Sweets.)

The Zach thing didn't bug me quite as much because I felt like they could have made it work if they had gotten a full season. So while it didn't work as we got on the show, I blame that on the writer's strike necessitating a shorter season. And I like Sweets.

I flat out refused to watch Bones as long as they had that reoccurring enemy who was basically magic with a computer. They did a passable enough job with the Gravedigger, but every attempt at a reoccurring antagonist since then has just been shit, an I really wish they'd just stop trying.

The thing that finally broke me was Hodgins losing his entire fortune. What? None of those financial institutions could tell they'd been hacked or had insurance? Nobody keeps hard copies anymore? Not a single accountant said, "that's weird, there was a fuck-ton of money here yesterday. Tee Hee."

There are so many, many other illogical plotlines they've played out on the show; but that was the one where my brain sat me down and said it was time to quit for my own good.
