AGREED SFM. I love the characters so dearly. But I cannot stand the time skips and bizarre pacing.

IA, Vikings has some cool characters but there's an insane amount of wasted potential for character development and cool story lines because of how fast the show moves. It would be nice if we could see the characters react more often, or react in a timely manner, not months after the fact. I would be much happier with the show if there were fewer time skips.

The writer's a former historian. I think that might have something to do with it. Given a patchy historical record, he'll be used to time skips and characters changing dramatically depending on which sources are used.

In fiction, those faults are not so acceptable.
