It absolutely can. But there needs to be a cameo with Korra getting angrily frustrated and attempting to set the whole thing on fire. Because she would.

Bolin won't get frustrated, but he'll be comically bad at it in the beginning, and gradually start figuring out how to make sense of the instructions. Pabu will retrieve screws and bolts that try to escape under the sofa. Eska will consider the entire endeavor beneath her at first... but start paying attention despite herself and points out when Bolin is trying to use the wrong piece or misses a step. Working together, the two of them manage to sort it out surprisingly well eventually (though it takes a while), because neither of them will get violently disgusted with the whole endeavor (*pointed look at Mako and Korra*)

Of course, Asami would have the whole thing assembled in twenty minutes, if anyone bothered to ask.

Of course no one asks Asami, and she doesn't volunteer. She sits there watching. Maybe live-tweeting about it (because if they have ikea they can have smartphones and twitter too. Only they'd call them...idk...brainograms and the tweetienet.)

I am completely on board with Asami livetweeting the entire experience -- in between noticing that the finished piece is going to be too big to fit through the door into the room they plan on putting it in. And not saying anything.

(I'm going to end up writing this, aren't I? But I still have to finish my epic WIP... and the "PWP one-shot" that turned into post-season-two fix-it fic that I already have 2500 words of on my hard drive and nobody's clothes are off yet... I'm bad at porn.)

I think I need to catch up with your fic. I've been slacking.

I have fics I want to write. Mostly ds9. I have original stuff I need to write too. There is not enough time in the world, ugh.

There really isn't enough time. At least there isn't a lot of my fic to catch up on; I've been awful and only updated like twice since Christmas. I think I'm up to chapter 12 now, if that gives you an indication. I need to work on that... and the LARP game I just volunteered to run in May.

Let me know if you do end up posting any DS9 fic; I'm curious! ^_^
