Yeah, if I remember right it happened really suddenly. Like he posted on Twitter about how he was grateful for the past few years but it was time to move on? People were like "No, he's not leaving Teen Wolf, he just moved houses!" and the TW twitters were like "Uh... As far as we know he's not leaving...? We haven't heard anything." And then a day or two later someone finally released a statement saying yeah, he's leaving Teen Wolf, so long suckas!

If I'm remembering correctly, he ended up leaving because they couldn't come to an agreement on his contract.
