as powercorrupts explained below, it's more than about just writing a novel in 30 days. that is the goal, yes, but that's not the sum total of the experience.

in November, when NaNo is officially happening, there is a huge community that builds up. energy is high, spirits are in good favor, and people are able to come together and bond for that month over something they are all taking part in. the motivation is there to plunge forward, keep going and cheer each other on.

writing is all ready a very lonely hobby, and doing something so intensive in a vacuum makes it that much more difficult to complete.

not to mention the frame of thought that says you are most productive when you are most busy because you're forced to organize your time better. November is a crappy time to do it with school and holidays and family and the like, I agree. however, if you organize your time around those things to write, many people find they write more than any other time during the year.

Yeah, I believe she got it dyed for the role. She was in Hercules with her blond hair, and according to wikipedia "To differentiate between Xena and the similar Lysia, Lawless' hair was dyed dark brown. Xena subsequently returned in two more episodes of Hercules' first season."

She's naturally ash-blond, say many sources. :3

Well clearly if anon is going to criticize, he/she (guessing she) must have the ideal body to compare to! (actually, I really like her eyeshadow -- very prettily done, though I think combining it with the shirts turned it overkill) Then again, I kind of feel for the girl -- sometimes you can't control your emotions so easily as the commenters are telling her to.

I agree though, I'm not even a fan of this type of pairing or whatever but Tiki x Allen turns me into a dirty old lady :(

Same. The sister I was referring to is 5' (4'12", as she likes to say), weighs 100 pounds, you can see her ribs, and sometimes she'll start off about how she "needs to go on a diet"! Society is so fucked up about weight/appearance.
