This outfit is a bra and hotpants. It's offensive if only because of how unimaginative it is. I love her, but she looks way better in the suit.

I came to it pretty late this season and ended up finishing it the day I started.

outfits like this make me roll my eyes more because of how unrealistic they are than anything else. like what was her thought process? "I'll wear a jacket and hat that's super professional, but randomly bare my midriff! because reasons! so fanboys can stare at me"

It's especially weird because it's not exactly a fanservicey show. Her outfit is so out of place.

Actually, in this show her clothes are a very covering uniform. What she's wearing in the secret picture are her activated "regalia", which are like weapons. When she deactivates them they all turn into people and she's wearing the uniform again.

And they could have just as easily designed them to turn into armor, or training pants, or anything. But fappers need to fap, so we get this.

I think in manga she had armor. Head-to-toe plate mail...... with a huge frilly skirt. That she tripped on A LOT. Had to let that outfit go xD

What the other anon said. She has another weapon who turns into an armor and a full-length skirt, but after getting the tiny clothes weapon, she decided to use the former for defense only. The tiny clothes version is her attack outfit.

I mean, I also think it's ridiculously fanservicy, especially because no one else in the whole series dresses like that, but at least there's an in-universe reason for it. She's not the kind of character who I could see wearing that just because she felt like showing off her everything.

I realize I should just let it go when it comes to anime, but her string bra makes my boobs hurt. Also I want magic boobs that ignore gravity and go all clevagey all on their own. -.-
