Unfortunately no, because I have a terrible memory for names. Including both author names and titles. I'll remember the entire plot of a damn thing, and can't for the life of me remember what it's called or who wrote it. It makes refinding books incredibly frustrating.

This one was fifteen years ago, so I remember even less than that. But if it helps any, it was definitely space opera, and the kiss was between the ship's captain and her lover, who I'm almost positive was an alien of some kind. I think their crew was also not necessarily on the side of angels, I'm thinking either bounty hunters or out-and-out outlaws. There was definitely shady dealings going on.
