I actually don't hate it either. The problem is that it's supposed to be a "fun" font but some people use it inappropriately.




The major issue appears to be that incredibly boring geeks have decided Comic Sans isn't cool, therefore it's another tiny way they can differentiate themselves from normal people, because they must be different, it's all they have.

I shall get out my tiny violin. Comic Sans is the font used in Snoopy comics, that i read all my childhood. I can never hate Comic Sans. It would be like hating Snoopy.

THIS so much this OMG I couldn't understand FandomSecret's hate-on for Comic Sans from the beginning, for precisely this reason. (I even got yelled at back in the LJ days for using it on secrets before I wised up.)

I don't know, there are times to hate Comic Sans. like when a friend of mine turned in a Holocaust essay entirely in that font. I was pretty horrified.
