In marvel's case, you can buy digital versions on their site: https://comicstore.marvel.com/

or, if you prefer physical copies and don't don't mind waiting for a bit, you can usually get them in TPB (for cheaper than singles issues) on amazon.
More and more normal bookstores carry comics books though (although that might just be where I live) So it might be worth looking around or asking them anyway.
