Hmm, I think maybe I better go put a note on my profile that says I don't mind kudos/reviews/comments on older/multiple/any combination of fics. I think it's great to be appreciated in whatever way someone feels like showing appreciation. Never found it creepy even when I *was* getting individual email notifications - I found it cute. And now I find it cute when I check my email in the morning and have a list of like ten fanfics in one of my more prolific fandoms that someone took the time to leave kudos on. Especially when there are other kudos in between - suggesting that they spent all day reading my stuff.
It may sound egotistical, but I have habitually low self-esteem, so when stuff like that happens, it's one of the few things in my life that makes me feel like maybe I'm not a complete waste of space and resources, if I made someone happy for a few minutes, or an hour, or the better part of a day.
