The last time I gave a shit about Inuyasha (which was like a decade ago), I just thought it was some kind of decorative thing he wore.

The tail thing never made sense for me, either. Unless he shapeshifts like a transformer, where his ass ends up in his head, and his feet end up in his forearms or some bullshit.
