Not that I have the exact same problem, but I hate when I write something (or read something that I thought was really good) and it has close to no reviews, and then some awful mary sue fic or something with horrid grammar and spelling everywhere has review after review of praise.
(Of course, it would probably help if I didn't write for hated pairings. Notably my most popular fic is one I wrote as a gift for someone featuring the fandom OTP. Try writing something stupid for whatever pairing your fandom is obsessed with and watch the reviews roll in. -_-;)
