I don't think of him as a "good person". I think of him as someone who thought, "I am all powerful so I am going to create this world. Okay, now let's step back and see how it goes."

It's worth pointing out that this is an answer that (although perfectly valid in itself) is kind of incompatible with most mainstream Christian orthodoxy. I mean, even on the most basic level, the idea of Christ as the son of God sent to redeem the sins of the world is incompatible with the idea of a watchmaker god.
