By that logic you can't show any queer people at all or you're queerbaiting. Of course, as we know, two presumably straight people of the same sex having a close, platonic friendship is also queerbaiting. Or two people if the same sex just interacting is queerbaiting. What isn't queerbaiting? Must all TV shows will consist of only establishing shots and incidental music?

I mean, to be fair to people who actually defend queerbaiting as a concept, that person was WRONG about what queerbaiting is. But... these concepts are flimsy and nebulous in the first place, so them getting co-opted by dumb people is kind of inevitable...

But to answer your question, yes.
