I completely agree, the face and general anatomy are all wrong. It does look very Naoko inspired but I am hoping they do what the original anime did and take Naoko's basic designs and make them better and more animate-able.

The original anime got *so pretty* as years went on and everyone knows that's the style people geniunely love. The manga is more divisive in terms of who likes the art and who doesn't.
