I'm not going to give you writing advice or judge your writing when I am in no way qualified, but I will say this; people like crap. They like good stuff on occasion, but mostly they like crap.

I get this as an illustrator all the time. I see amazing artists barely get any recognition while random dumb drawing is reblogged 100,000 times.

People are allowed to have fun and like what they like, but sometimes it does sting to see the level of popularity someone can get without any artistic training at all.
