Google Chrome for everything and except the "sync desktops thingy" I don't really have any interesting add-ons...

Looks like this if anyone is interested: http://i1278.photobucket.com/albums/y510/making_excuses/ScreenShot2014-03-19at000516_zps90838015.png

I fear you might learn a bit too much about my internet habits looking at that, and I will prove that my F!S folder has nothing to do with spreadsheet!Anon if necessary, it is where I keep my gifs...

Firefox because Google Chrome does not have a download videos addon. :(

And my skin is Jensen Ackles eyes.

It's been a long day and I just struggled a lot to comprehend the sentence: "And my skin is Jensen Ackles eyes." My mind went to a strange place.

Chrome with adblock, adblock plus and ghostery, plus tampermonkey when I need to manually tweak things

Basically as far as browser spyware is concerned, I don't exist

I use Firefox mostly because I'm used to it and don't see any real strong positive reason to switch over to Chrome.

I use the Microfox skin and for extensions I have Adblock Plus and a bunch of random usability stuff - Tab Mix Plus, Tile Tab, Liveclick for live bookmarks, Save File To for saving stuff more easily. Nothing too extreme but it works for me.

Chrome. Add-ons right now are Tumblr Savior and (if it counts) the Pin It thing for Pinterest. I had a friend convince me to put up more blocking stuff (like Ghostery) on my other comp but I haven't gotten around to it here.

Firefox is my default, with AdBlockerPlus *yay!!* and the 'theme font and size changer', because the latest Firefox update made my bookmarks teeny-tiny and it drove me nuts. Um. Skin. Um..... I use the 'basic' page style and the boxes are a kind of translucent turquoise? I guess no skin.

Chrome is my backup for dl'ing stuff when i have a ton of Firefox tabs open (it seems to screw with the dls to have a bunch, don't ask me), and also the platform i use google.docs from.

Chrome. Adblock. Done.

Re: Web browsers and stuff!

(Anonymous) 2014-03-19 12:22 am (UTC)(link)
Mainly Firefox for browsing and stuff, but I use Chrome for shopping or paying bills because that's all I use it for and I close it when I'm done (whereas I usually have about a billion tabs open in Firefox and don't want to have to reload them).

IDK if it's even still necessary to close your browser when you're done doing financial-type stuff, for security reasons, but I do anyway.

Work: Chrome
Home: Firefox, Iceweasel if I have the VM booted.

Addons: Stylish, Lastpass, Adblock Pro, Tumblr Savior, Flashblock.

Firefox, an old Hetalia skin that I barely notice anymore, and add-ons including adblock, colorzilla, tumblr savior, and stylish.

With Stylish I have my tumblr dash something better than boring blue and other things to change its look around.

Chrome. I switched to Chrome because Firefox is way too much of a memory hog, but I still keep it as my backup browser.

Firefox with 55 different extensions--mainly security-related stuff and interface tweaks to restore missing features from older versions, or just let me put things where I prefer to have them, plus a few to help wrangle various social sites. Favorites include:

NoScript
Adblock Plus
Ghostery
Disconnect
HTTPS Everywhere
Self-Destructing Cookies
Cookie Culler
Flashblock
Tab Mix Plus
Greasemonkey
Tumblr Savior
Xkit
LJlogin
Session Manager
TabGroups Menu
Lazarus

Appearance-wise I use Firefox 2, The Theme, Reloaded.

Firefox. Add-ons are AdblockPlus, FoxClocks, Personas Plus, Stylish, and xkit, current skin/persona is called Orange Dream.

Chrome with Adbolck, Awesome Screenshot, FB purity, fruumo notifier, google dictionary, hover free, lazarus, mute tab, panic button, pocket, recycle bin, reddit enhancement suite, speed dial and tumblr savior (I checked, I don't remember them all by heart!)

Skin is one of the common ones. Name is Marlies dekker, apparently. A black & grey damask.

Firefox. I have a skin with my OTP on it, and I use Tumblr Savior, XKit for Tumblr and AdBlock Plus. I'm so used to Firefox that I don't see the need to switch to Chrome or anything else.

Firefox. I used to have Tumblr Savior but it broke, but I have Greasemonkey, Stylish, AdBlock Plus, leechblock, LJ Login, a word counter add-on, ColorZilla, and Firebug.

I use this skin: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/pokemon-white-persona/

Firefox, with Opera as a back up. Chrome used to be my back up, but Google acts like such a bully, installing shit without permission, making it difficult to delete, and just being all-around shady.

Addons: Adblock Plus, Cookie Culler, Download Helper, Fireshot, Gmail Notifier, Yahoo!Mail Watcher, NoScript, Session Manager, Tumblr Savior, and Youtube Center.

Mozilla Firefox.

I don't have much in the way of add-ons, the two major ones being Ghostery and LJ Login. There's a few security bits from my virus protection and a spellchecker that doesn't work (I was trying to get something for Australian English).
