It's getting more prevalent. It was one of the rules that sporkers didn't say too much bad stuff about the authors aside from their writing, but now it seems to be open season on some published writers.

Rubbish. How far back into the misty past are you reaching? IME, sporkers have always been ready to attack the author along with the work.
