Look, I get that the song wasn't everyone's cup of tea, but it's not irrelevant when they're singing about half the moral of the fucking movie.

I'm assuming you're talking about the last half of the song?

The song is irrelevant because they're singing it to Anna, who is literally the last person in the movie who needs to hear it. It contributes absolutely nothing.

Looking at the lyrics I realize "half" is a very generous description.

Actually, they're singing it to the audience, because 1) that's who all the songs in the musical are being sung to and 2)that's who the moral of a fairytale is for.

That's just, like, your opinion, man.

(For the record, not trying to brush you off, just doesn't make much sense to argue further because we disagree on that point. No hard feelings etc etc.)

Wait a minute -- one of the reasons that Anna got zapped in the first (well, second) place was because she was so sure that her being there would fix whatever was wrong with Elsa that she sang her reprise right over Elsa's massive freakout and got caught in the crossfire. And, when the trolls start in with their singing, she's still expecting smooches with Prince "Ten Minutes Ago I Saw You" to make everything better. She might literally be the only person in the movie who needed to hear that song.

What. Are we talking about the same song? The "To fix people love them" song?
