I hate that Lydia got trapped in another sexually suggestive non-con situation

I fucking hate how Lydia is treated. She's a banshee, but all she does is scream all the fucking time and be rescued. She's so damn smart, but since s3, I feel like that's been forgotten and now she's just a damsel in distress. Also Peter needs to diaf and I hate how they've swept his treatment of Lydia under the table so he can just be a sassy uncle. Like no. Fuck you.

Lydia deserves more. Allison deserved more. All the women deserve more.

She's a banshee, but all she does is scream all the fucking time and be rescued.

She IS smart and has good ideas, but good god there's a lot of her just screaming and needing someone to find her or rescue her. Since she's sticking around they need to give her more to do. (That isn't just get a new boyfriend or whatever. Give her something interesting. Aiden isn't interesting and she needs her own storyline to go somewhere. Apparently s4 is going to be centured around Lydia, but I'm not overtly excited about it because of how the show has treated her so far.)

I'm sooooo tired of Peter. I get why people like his snark but no one should be trusting a word he says and he doesn't deserve to live for everything he's done; idk how anyone stands his company or why everyone just shrugs and let's him in the front door.

The Aiden/Lydia plotline is so bad. He's a Jackson step-in and a poor one at that. He has no redeeming characteristics and wanted to kill all her friends. I want him to die, just so Lydia can be free of him.

I'm not super excited for more Lydia. I have a horrible feeling either she'll be used for more screaming or as Stiles' girlfriend. Davis has promised more badass Lydia and in the past, and I have yet to be not let down.

Derek needs to kill Peter. Or Lydia. I'd love if Lydia killed Peter. He's outlasted his usefulness by 2 seasons.

Even Jackson (who was a total asshole) was a more likable character than Aiden. (IMO Colton was a much better actor too, though I know the twins haven't exactly been given much to work with so it might not be just them.)

IA. I really liked Lydia standing up to the nogitsune in the last episode, but I hate that she keeps being put in these situations. Give the girl a break. If next season is more 'we don't know much about banshees, it's such a big mystery' combined with 'and now you realize Stiles has loved you all along, and you return those feelings' I will be so done with everything.

Right now Derek probably wouldn't kill Peter because he's went the way of Scott and seems to think all killing is bad, but Lydia probably would. I would enjoy that after what he put her through.

I was really proud of Lydia though. Yeah, she seems to just do a lot of screaming, but she had a plan this time. She *was* being smart. She knew the oni would come after him and, even though she was scared, that's why she was taunting him. She didn't want the others to find her and them showing up ruined her plan and made it seem like she was just waiting around to be rescued. Idk. I don't have quite the problem with Lydia that a lot of people seem to.

I do see what you're saying and agree; this time wasn't quite the same as some of the other situations she's been in and she was being smart. I just wish the writers would stop having people kidnap or use Lydia. This season she's been more involved with the others and she is trying to help (which I like) but it still feels like Lydia doesn't have as central a role as she should have for being one of the main characters. Last episode was a good one for her, but sometimes I barely remember she was in an episode.

Ha. Yeah, me too. Especially when she has scenes with Aiden. I will say I'm extremely annoyed that Lydia has seemingly let Peter off the hook after everything he did to her. Poor follow-through on an interesting storyline.

I think if push ever comes to shove that Lydia will take Peter DOWN for what he did to her, but we haven't seen that at all. If you take the show at face value it looks like she's mostly gotten over it and doesn't even care that much anymore, which I don't believe at all. They should pick that up again sometime next season, but I won't hold my breathe for it.
