Given that there were all of three girls (including myself) in the Sci-Fi/Fantasy club and I was the only girl in the computer programming class? No, I really don't think so, or if there were they were damn good at hiding.

Maybe they were good at hiding because they also had bad experiences when they were being open about their interests.

But what about those 2 other girls in the Scifi/fantasy club? You were not alone then. Not in your class, but at least in your school.

I know a lot people have ditched or avoided nerd clubs because of some of the people they can attract.
