1. It is not at all surprising that an adult has a more mature/feminist POV than average tumblr user.

2. At the same time, the phrase 'Cumberbitch' is obviously somewhat tongue in cheek, and I don't see any problem with its use - mainly because it's a group of (mostly) women voluntarily giving themselves a particular name to signify their membership in a community. An inherently ridiculous name for an inherently ridiculous community, in which everyone is in on the joke. Where exactly is the problem?

Maybe OP is responding to the fact that he keeps trying to get them to change it to something else?

IDK. I never minded it.

It's not a problem with the fans, but his, perhaps logical, view that he can't go about calling them bitches, so he's in favour of calling them something else.

It's rather ironic that all these rabid feminists call themselves "bitches" and are cult-like followers of a cis white man.

What does being a feminist have to do with liking someone who is cis? Or white? Or wait, do feminists not get to like men at all?

I think it's "bitch" instead of "buddy" because "bitch" is only one letter off from "batch". It's a better pun.
