My favorite Joker will always be the one who was at the DC and Batman panels at SDCC last year, mostly because he asked his questions in character (mostly in a vein similar to the one from BTAS, anyways) and I thought that was amazing and funny.

That said, that's one fine Joker cosplay, ngl.

Oh, Troy Baker? He NAILED the Mark Hamill style of Joker, I was very impressed.

No, I think that might have been a fan cosplaying (iirc, I overheard him saying to someone between panels that it was his first time cosplaying) at San Diego Comic Con, and not Baker. I think he may have had a Harley with him, I don't quite remember.

A quick google search shows Troy Baker did something at the New York Comic Con a few months later, though (reading some dialogue from one of the Arkham games).

The great thing about Joker is you could play him in just about any characterization they've already done and it'd still be Joker. That's the whole point -- he's unpredictable. Everything from the harmless trickster of the 60s TV show to Ledger's anarchic take to the frightening monster of Death of the Family to the elusive, vicious thug of Death in the Family and Killing Joke to the brilliantly strategic and manipulative bastard of Arkham Origins, Batman RIP and Trust (a 2-part arc in Detective Comics #833-834) -- all of it is Joker.

The best part of this is that he genuinely looks like he's having the time of his life. Who else thinks the real Joker would have a blast at a con?

I love that guy because of how close he is to how I would imagine the Joker of the comics and animated universes if he were a real person. It's a personal pet peeve of mine when he's drawn with a massive chin for example - think some panels in Death in the Family. So...I love any versions of the Joker that show you can still have the grin and look sort of realistic ("sort of" because hey, comic book character.)

Anyway I see Heath Ledger's Joker as different because that universe is meant to be even closer to our own than most of the others. That portrayal embodies a lot of what I like about the Joker as a villain in general but I kind of feel like this is comparing apples and oranges in terms of the aesthetics.

NGL, I DO love Ledger as Joker, but I also grew up watching Jack Nicholson as Joker and typically hear Mark Hamill's voice when I think of the character. (Troy Baker is fantastic in the role as well.)

There are so many good Joker's and any of them are fine to have as favorites.

This guy is a particularly fine example of a good cosplayer. I love his look and his energy. He seems like he's having the absolute best time. (He's also weirdly attractive as Joker, and every time I see him I feel so much conflict over that. I'm not comfortable with finding the Joker hot, lmao.)

I've never heard his voice, does he sound like the Joker too? He's perfect in pictures, I'm just curious

Ok. So. the Ledger!Joker. He was a great INTERPRETATION of the Joker, especially for THAT version of the Batman universe. And yes, he's my favorite.

But for a comic book interp? Yes, this is amazing. Though personally, even though the Ledger!Joker is my favorite, the best Joker is hands down BTAS version.

He's too young-ish and good-looking to really be the Joker to me, but yeah, I think his cosplay is still really cool and well done.

I have special in the pants feels about him as the Joker.

The only Joker I like is Mark Hamill's. I can't get past this guy's giant ego and the fact that he thought some Joker stan that was killed in the comic was modeled after him. Also the nerve of him to sell women's underwear with his ugly mug.
