I rarely go anon either, but I also rarely reply to comments (as OP, anyway) on the threads of my secrets. I have, but I typically don't feel it's necessary.
However, the OP thing is kind of funny. Maybe it's confusing for the real OP, or maybe they're just amused that someone else 'cared' enough to fake being the OP (even if that wasn't your intention).
